Public BusWe work together with Ísafjarðabæ on public bus schedule for weekdays. The trips are set up in collaboration with Ísafjarðabæ and residents. The purpose is to connect Ísafjörður area together. The bus trips should benefit the residents to get to and from school or work, and is the schedule build around that. Also have trips been added to the schedule to benefit residents to get service from the local authority, government or private parties that is only available in Ísafjörður.
Four lines connect the town center in Ísafjörður together with the near by towns suburbs and villages. Those lines are: Ísafjörður – Holtahverfi, Ísafjörður – Hnífsdalur, Ísafjörður – Suðureyri, Ísafjörður – Flateyri / Þingeyri A bus between Ísafjörður, Hnífsdal, and Bolungrvík has been added to the schedule for the purpose to get kids between towns for sport practices. |
